Donate your old stationery and change someone’s life

This year, Office National wants to do things differently – but we need your help!
The Back to School season is in full swing and Office National, in partnership with Butterfly, want to focus on giving back to underprivileged communities by giving once loved stationery a second chance. Every year parents and pupils order new boxes of stationery, even though some of the previous year’s supplies are still in good condition. At the same time, children in underprivileged areas of the country struggle to find a pencil or basic supplies. Teachers and pupils are encouraged to give their old but still useable stationery to Office National who will then pass their donations to well-deserving children across the country.
The campaign does not simply end with a donation. Together with some of our suppliers, Office National, want to reward you for donating your old items! You could win a mobile library for your school, valued at R10 000 or a laptop, printer, desk, and accessories, also valued at R10 000 – just by helping others.
To win, pupils must post images of their donations and a short description of why they wanted to donate their once loved pens and pencils. Schools and classes can also take part in the competition by simply being active on social media – the more you tweet and post using #ONmystationerypledge – the better your chances are of winning.
Drop off your old stationery at your school and get them to call Office National on 011 704 0056 or email marketing@officenational.co.za and we will collect your pre-loved goods and get them into the right hands.
